hi everyone! i have a velleman k8200 kit and i really cant level the bed properly. I can level the 4 edges but in the middle the bed is getting up. I dont understand the solution that velleman suggests in the faq so i want to ask you if anyone here has experienced the same and what is the solution?

Hi, make sure the aluminium plate below the PCB is straight, you may need to straighten it as it is mostly not flat, also add a glass or mirror on top of the PCB to get a flat surface.
i have tried to put a glass on it but again the bed is unleveled
Let the bed sit at temp for a while. The center will often lift because it is hotter at the center than the edges. It will improve flatness as it reaches thermal equilibrium. Also if you can use something other than binder clips to hold down the glass it wont bow the glass to match the unlevel heated bed.
If you want to put glass on it, you could flip the aluminum bed over so it is higher on the sides rather than in the middle.
