Hi everyone, new to asking help for 3D printer stuff.

Hi everyone, new to asking help for 3D printer stuff. Anyways so I’ve been messing with independent dual extrusion on my custom 3D printer. I have everything level and working now but can’t seem to get my printer to print what either extruder is supposed to print in the right place. I hope my pictures can explain my issue a bit better.

For example, I have been printing a dual extrusion calibration object. And instead of the two objects being merged together they’re seperate. If anyone can help me figure out how to get the models to print in the correct positions I’d really appreciate it. I was able to dial it in enough so that it isn’t printing on two different sides of the build plate by configuring the distance between the extruders in Marlin but am not able to get it any more close than it is now with that method. Anyways thanks for any help.

Check your nozzle offsets.

You could use something like this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1006549

If you have the dual x carriage configuration you must set the x extruder offset to 0 and use only the max x2 position for calibrate…
