Hi FASTLED community

I would like to share the project I did recently (Spin&win wheel)
Total height is 2.7 meter with 2 meter diameter wheel
Here is the video which shows some patterns.
Will upload the completed one later.

Thanks to Daniel, Mark kriegsman, Andrew Tuline, Marc Miller and other users who helped me.

I have used some patterns from demo reel and Andrew tuline’s codes.
Few simple patterns created by me.

Epic wheel! Looks so cool Neo.

LOVE IT! How are you going to place prizing on the wheel and indicate the winning prize?

Hi @Neo_Maximus - Spectacular! Thank you for sharing. Are the RGB LED spokes on the wheel one long strip or are they connected differently to your MCU? Also, are you using a slip ring in your wheel?

I’ve been assuming the wheel itself isn’t spinning. That negates my questions above.

@allanGEE
The wheel has a thin sheet of iron pasted to it
The prizing panel is a digital printed magnetic sheet

@Ken_White
Only one output from MCU.
And the level shifter 74hct245
Output 20 parallel output.
Yes I use a slip ring

That looks very cool and would definitely attract a good sized crowd. Am wondering how the power is applied to a spinning wheel.

@Andrew_Tuline
There is a slip ring attached with the wheel which transfer 5v power to the spinning wheel
