Hi folks, I took your advice and got the SN47AHCT125 level shifter and things

Hi folks,
I took your advice and got the SN47AHCT125 level shifter and things are working great with the Adafruit Neopixel library. However, I can’t seem to get FastLED to work at all. I’m wondering if it is my Arduino (M0 Pro) and perhaps I need to adjust a setting to make it work. Code seems to compile and upload fine, but no action with the LEDS. I’m using WS2812Bs (a strip of 150), and setting the output pin and Num_LEDS correctly.
I’ve tried setting LED_TYPE to both WS2811 and WS2812B but neither worked.
Is there something else I should be setting?

Please post your code on http://pastebin.com

Hi, I pasted my modified DemoReel100 from the FastLED library here: http://pastebin.com/YXW6pGtK
My only changes are in the #Define section at the top.

Thanks.

Hmm… Not likely to be a pin mapping issue or a wiring issue then. I’m stumped. @Mark_Kriegsman (and Daniel Garcia, can’t tag on mobile) could maybe think of something I haven’t? Just in case, post (again on pastebin) the working code you used for the Adafruit library.

Thanks for checking. Here’s the link for the AdaFruit Strandtest code that works without a problem. Again, the only changes on this one are the Pin and LED count. It works fine.

Appreciate anyone taking the time on this.
I did get what I thought is the correct level shifter - it’s marked SN74AHCT125.

@Stuart_Sands Hmm, that is certainly mysterious. The level shifter does appear to be a correct type.
I’m wondering whether the M0 has an output port structure which doesn’t play nice with FastLED.
