Hi folks,
I’m about to assemble the E3D Titan with the supplied E3D Slimline motor.
In the datasheet for the motor, I found these values:

  • Rated voltage: 2.7V
  • Rated current: 1.4A / phase

I’m using TMC2100’s in spreadcycle mode.
What value for calculation for Vref do I need to use? Imax or Irms?

i would run the motor at 1A and if it is skipping i would consider increasing it to 1.1A.

Do you mean 1A Irms or Imax?

0.71A rms, 1A Imax. - 1V on the pot if i remember properly
