Hi friends, I am new here. I work with laser cutting machines here in Brazil, and could not take more machines so limited with laserdraw, corellaser. I bought a mksbase and I put the lpc firmware on it but I can not find the signal diagram for the TL IN of the co2 laser source, would anyone have the diagram? thanks in advance. follow photos and link of firmware.
As stated in the release comments: the PWM out is on the heatbed Mosfet P2.5. Just use the negative pin. This will pull down TL to fire the laser.
so I use IN on heat bed + and TL on heat bed-?
or do not use the IN for power control ?, can you pass me how you use Pwm in your grbl?
This depends on your machine. Most K40 machines have a pot on IN for max. power adjustment and use the L pin (on rightmost connector) for the PWM signal. TL is often used for a maual activation switch or door security switch.
Can you post a picture of your original cabling? Do you have a pot for power adjustment?
Check Don’s page for more informations: http://donsthings.blogspot.ch/2016/11/k40-laser-power-supply-control-take-2.html?m=1
ok, thanks friend, my machine has power control by panel yes, but I wanted to use the control if power by laser web, is this possible?
I know, the power is controlled by the T1 in pwm signal, thanks one more thing, in the bar of gcode is asking $ X to unlock always, can you leave it unlocked all the time?
It is wise to have both power control, by the panel and by PWM from LaserWeb. This way you can adjust the max power on the panel and use the whole dynamic range of LaserWeb/Grbl for grayscale.
The locking is made by the firmware for security reason (no option to change). In LaserWeb, you can press the Stop Button to unlock (or press Home, if you have homing switches).
ok many thanks friend
