Hi Guys/Gals,
I’m only asking this here with hope you guys can point to me the right location. I started setting up a mini cnc using grbl. The goal will be to run it using laserweb. I’m having troubles with my endstops. I’m only plan on using 3 switches. Either way, I’m getting alarm 8 in UGS. Do any of you guys know a good grbl forum or some other documentation that can help me. I feel like I’ve scoured the web to no avail. Thanks for any help. I’ll be sure to pull this down as I know it’s not in the right place. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the input guys. Perhaps you can help me with my latest. I’ve read most everything I can but to no avail. Right now, (error cleared by the way) when homing the z moves a bit and then stops. It never actually goes to the switch. I’ve got it wire for normally closed with the $5 set to 1. Any ideas what I should be looking for?

Solved: had to comment out VARIABLE_SPINDLE because I’m using an old shield design.
