Hi guys, I have a problem with my Prusa I3 Hephestos. Using SainSmart’s laywood, often the layers aren’t welded correctly so they detach themselves easily.
I have this problem only with SainSmart’s laywood, printing the same .gcode with other filament, I have no problem.
I sliced my STL with Cura: layer0,15-temp215°
Try experimenting with different temperatures
Which temperature could you suggest?
I would try going up in 5 degree steps. Its going to be trial and error until you get it right. When I get layer bonding issues with almost any filament it’s usually because it’s too cold.
Ok, let me try with 220°! Thank you
Now I’m trying the same layer at 230°
I did have the same Problem with 0.4 Nozzle.
Printed with 0.8 Nozzle - the Problem was no more
I have 0,4 nozzle…but i think that 0,8 is too big…
@Nicola_Brucoli You can use a 0.4 but its much harder. The wood filaments work better with bigger nozzles. But in your case you don’t seem to be struggling with blockages just bonding so you should be fine.
now 50% and the print is fine…good luck to me
