Hi guys, I printed a set of F1 wheels and am going to get some flexible filament for the tyres.
Just wanted to know if everyone was using Ninjaflex or others as well. Also, whether there a difference in performance from the type of filament or mainly the tread type it is printed with?

Cheers
Jim

Hi, I have personally used some TPE with shore hardness of 80A from China. printed well, just waiting to receive my battery to be able to test run it now
Never used Ninjaflex so i cannot give comments on that.

@Hobby_Hardware can you share a link?, i haven’t seen anything with a shore hardness less than 85A.

It’s actually the filament we are selling in our store, we have it in 80A and 90A

Would love to see some filament around 40A.

What is 135 RM in U.S.D.

You can select the currency. It’s around 33USD with current change I think.
80A is not easy to print. Tried with a bowden extruder it failed miserably. With direct extruder it’s fine at 40mm/s but if the nozzle is too low during first layer printing it will jam and wrap itself around the gear

I’m printing alot with TPU in different shore values. I have some from Creative-tools.com (Eco) did a lot of tyres with it for the open F1 :slight_smile:

Ops, link here(includes ninjaflex):

I had a heck of a time getting the NinjaFlex to feed through my extruded to start to push out the ABS but once that was done…
