Hi guys, I’m pretty new to 3D printing, My local library has one I can use for a couple of weeks and currently I’m looking Into buying one. The reason for my Interest is that I have a older set of speakers and the tweeters needs replacing, The factory tweeters are no longer in production and have a crossover frequency much lower than 95% of the modern tweeters, I managed to get a pair of tweeters that will match in frequencies but the face plate is too small. So I figured just print a new one and all would be good. well after 3 weeks trying, I still have nothing, I even got help at the local library but they aren’t at that level of design. I was wondering if anyone wanted to lend a hand? I have all the dimensions needed, I’m just no good at the whole cad thing or even those easy ones, I’ve tried around a dozen applications so far. below is a pic so you know what I’m looking at. I did spend 5hrs again on it today but still I’m not confident in it. Anyone want to try and lend a hand? Thanks Jeff
ok Thanks a lot :), I’ll draw plans, the first one I just did. It shows the overall size, thickness, and equal spacing of 3 counter sunk screws on the tips of the triangle, I drawn the triangle just to indicate where the screw holes go on each tip, these are the mounting screw location, the triangle is perfectly centered to the circle. 103.7mm x3 sides.
