The following can be considered a bit of a plug. If you don’t think it belongs here, let me know and I’ll remove it. Here goes for now!

We just launched our new student program at 3D Hubs; https://www.3dhubs.com/students

The program is aimed at giving more students access to 3D printing by offering them a 25% discount on all of their 3D prints (!). As there are a lot of students in this group and this can be of value to them, I figured I’d quickly share.

For a student to apply, the process is as follows:

  1. Go to: http://3dhubs.com/students
  2. Upon entering a University email address, a verification email will be send
  3. Verification then qualifies the student for 25% discount
  4. After verification, students can place orders through http://3dhubs.com/students/3dprint, which applies the 25% automatically

My hub participates in this. I always get orders from the architecture and art classes anyway.
