Hi, here's our last work.

Hi, here’s our last work. A real injection mold printed in 3D with the new PLA HS (High Strenght). Perfectly working, as you can see… We moulded with casting wax, casting polyurethane and also injecting polymers like Polypropylene and ABS. Finally, we injected this thermoplastics polymer with a standard injection machine! (If you want more info visit our page on PLA HS http://www.designforcraft.com/pla-high-strenght/)

Very nice, how’s the PLA HS holding up overall? Staying rigid? Any noticeable degradation or loss in strength?

Hi Daniel. Just two facts: more resistance to mechanical sollicitations, higher HDT (Heat Deflection Temperature). A little bit higher melt temperature. Very soon available for purchasing on http://www.stickfilament.com

Sounds like it might be a good fit for a project I’m working on… needing a bracket that sits inside a high temperature container for long periods supporting weight horizontally
