Hi!

I have an application where I am needing 5 inputs for water and temperature sensors, and have it send an email if a condition is met. I see 7 GPIO pins on the ESP8266 schematic, but don’t find documentation stating the number of IO’s.
Is the ESP8266 a good fit for my application?
I don’t have any experience with them.

You can always use I2C extenders and the likes, I think if you look at ESP8266-12’s they have more pinned out :slight_smile:

@Richard_Sloan I am needing to build hundreds of these and was wondering if it was possible to with this chip alone and not have to do any super tiny soldering?
