Hi, I have been trying out a new(ish) slicer called CraftWare. I wrote up a blog about it, take a look to see if CraftWare will be your next slicer :

I think it’s worth mentioning that it’s Windows only, free but not open source and that it can be found at https://craftunique.com/craftware

@Jan_Wildeboer not sure where you are getting that it is Windows only, that have Mac dmg installers.

@Jim_Cline_OutWest_Sy from the official page:

“CraftWare is currently in the Beta stage, so feel free to download it and let us know what you think! Any Windows operating system from Windows 7 and up will work.

I don’t want to start a war here, but in my view “windows 7 and up” is any macOs.

Thanks for the review, looks promising! Wonder how it compares to kisslicer and simply3d?

They have over complicated the entire usage in my opinion… It drove me away with all the silly colors and non intuitive UI. The slicer did an ok job, but there was nothing in it that made me want to switch from Simplify3D. I also regularly use Slic3r and Cura (from Repetier-Host) and fine them more usable on a daily basis.

Pity there is no version for Linux

You need a license for the VM if you want to be legal :frowning:
