Hi,

I have done first Truggy, but I use Solidworks for modification and a lot of STL or even in STP component get edges problems.

I have looking for sources 3D CAD but nothing

Can someone help with it for more futur involve in this awesome project.

I have a SW 2014 file that I imported from STP and fixed most of the edge problems in.

FreeCAD is a good free software to work with step or stl.

im using the student version of Autodesk Inventor 2013. Works very well with the OpenRC stp-file.
If im getting “faulty” stl-files im using netfabb basic to correct them. if netfabb for some reason does not correct the problem, im uploading it to the online tool of netfabb, thats works 100% (at least i never had a problem afterwards).
An other option is to load it up into Meshmixer. it also checks for errors and corrects them if possible.
