Hi! I made an LED hula hoop that plays effects to a song using the sample code for a timecoded performance found here: https://gist.github.com/kriegsman/a916be18d32ec675fea8.

Hardware-wise, it’s just a ~3m long strip of WS2812Bs passed through some clear HPDE tubing (7/8" OD) with an arduino micro and an AAA-sized li-ion battery stuffed inside.
I think it turned out pretty well. :slight_smile:

hows the weight distribution aspect?

looks great.

Thanks! I didn’t counterbalance it, so the weight is concentrated at the battery. I only have one 10440 in there though so it’s not too heavy.
