Hi, just getting into FastLED and trying to combine it with my hobby of sci-fi models. Would like to light up a model BSG Viper spaceship (Battlestar Galatica - takes me back to my youth!). Viper has 3 rear engines (3 x Neopixels) and I would like to show the engine starting and running up i.e. going through cycle of colors red/yellow/orange/white to show the thrusters getting hotter as they are running. Some flickering/fading during running would also be cool. I have think i need to use a color palette? Any help appreciated.
Did you try the Fire2012 sketch? Not sure how it would look on only 3 LEDs. But I’ve used it for dragon eyes with the neopixel jewels to great effect
