Hi there

I have a problem again or maybe the same… but i just had a dead led again somewhere in The new stripe after it was working for a while (and no high brightness)…

But what was stringe while powering on and off a part of the strip was lighting on bevor the rest. Mostli in one region. Can it be that this happens when there is some + is connected with the data… (This is actualli my only explonation…i have a 330 ohm resistor bevor the data signal.

The teensy has a 3 second delay programmed bevir the animation starts

Since i did a cutout of the broken led it seems fine again… Is this usual?

Did you put a big capacitor at the front of the line between G and Vcc? As big as 1000 uF?

It’s definitely normal for things to work once you take out a bad LED.

@allanGEE ​ i probably didnt say it right … the video is with the bad led. But the bad led was located in a different stripe than the one which lights up before it should. The bad light got extremli hot after a while and thrn i had the some random behaviour on this strip after the burnd led… but since i cut it out the oder stripe doesn’t show any lightning anymore.
