hi there!
So i have an anet a8. I really have bad problems with the bed adhesion. i releveled the bed multiple times and still it wont work. I use blue painters tape and print with PLA at 190°C and 45°C bed. Im really frustrated right now… The first layer just wont stick to the bed. Can someone help me?
you could try increasing the extruder temperature just for the first layer. also uhu stick may help. in my case i bought some PEI sheet from prusa and never had issues with the first layer. http://shop.prusa3d.com/en/3d-printer-parts/146-replacement-pei-sheet-ultem.html
Can add a picture of your first layer? Or does it not stick at all?

I skipped the whole tape thing completely. instead I had a glass cut for the bed & I use regular ole unscented hair spray with ABS.
I use glass and a 65-70c bed temp.
Glass and prit stick, 70 bed temp. And make sure that first layer is nicely squidged to the bed.
I can vote for Printbite (similar to PEI) at 65°. Prints really stick well and will pop off when cooled to room temperature
Heating your bed to 60 (that’s above the glass temp of PLA) will help it stick nicely to the tape. After a few layers in height drop the bed temp back down to 45 to keep it from warping as upper layers cool.
Level the bed with the nozzle the thickness of a piece of standard printer paper (0.1mm) causing some drag on the nozzle as you pull it.
Start with your first layer at 0.2mm thick and see if that helps.
PEI and 60c on the bed worked well for us on the A8
If you’re set on using blue tape, try wiping it with rubbing alcohol before printing. Bed temp should 60C or slightly more.
Hi

Glass,heated bed=60 , aqua net hair spray
It works for me too with glass cleaned with alcohol and bed temperature 60°C, without anything else.
Pertinax works even better. Blue tape I don’t use anymore. It stuck too good. I would guess you have the wrong distance to the bed, too far away, but I never tried it with less than 60°C.
thanks for your help! i will try it again this evening
