Hmmm I need some Cura help please. I have a wifiduet powered Wanhao D6. I have stayed with the simple cura 16.021 for 18months as its simple and works very well for me on the D6 giving great prints and very good bed adhesion/first layer. So I just bought / built myself a “new” PC and with a ssd put windows 10 on it. I decided to upgrade myself to Cura 3.3.1 and OMG its awful for bed adhesion, curling off the bed and nozzle blocks. So I have been trying to do a line by line comparison between 16 and 3.3.1 running along side each other and cant find the “difference(s)” causing the poor performance. Can someone(s) suggest what I should pay attention to / check in particular please? thanks
Still using 3.3.1 for similar reasons, for it working with printer smoothly, new software was only worse, maybe if I had to start over it would be worth learning and tinkering, but not vs a known solution for me.

There is a check box for “remove empty first layer”, maybe try to check out that one
