Hoho, thanks Santa!

Hoho, thanks Santa!

I want to go to there.

oh cool now i can print those shirts i had in grade school,

Is that died nylon?

Probably multi colored abs or pla, but lets see what he says

whatever it is its died after extrusion. else the color sections wouldnt line up like that on the spool

Yeah, looks like the spool was dipped… all tie dye style, literally

Want! Link please.

Nice!

Looks like Nylon… Can we get a link? Want to run some through my solidoodle.

Keeping an eye on this post. Can’t wait to see where it came from or what process was used

This is a real mission to make, it is extruded, then dried, then dipped in one color, hung to dry, dipped in second color and dried, and then third color and died and then finally spooled. Stock is located in New Zealand so freight is a killer, but if you know of any filament resellers we are keen sign up especially in the USA. http://store.3dprintingsystems.com/3D_Printer_Filament/Twisted-v2

This wouldn’t be good in a environment that relies on color coding to know what the cable is connected to.

@Michael_Young this is filament for a 3d printer not wire.

yes, this is #3dprinter filament 1.75mm only and is ABS-PC

That makes more sense. A quick glance resulted in me concluding it was a twisted pair. My bad. In that case, very awesome!

Hopefully it’s not just an artifact from G+ “Awesomizing” a photo  edit: I need to refresh more often it seems

Any ideas what to print first with this and I’ll post photos.

Tree frog

I think a twisted vase would show the filament to the best advantage.
