How do you know which BF12/BK12 ballscrew end supports to buy?
I need some extra, but when I search on ebay/aliexpress the price varies a lot.
How do I know if the more expensive ones are better quality or if they are the same as the low-cost ones?

My guess is if they look the same, then they are the same thing. The people charging more are just more optimistic about their lives. Some folks have low prices, but higher shipping costs too. So watch out for that.

@charlie_wallace I can’t buy anything off fleabay. I just can’t! I used to, but it just got too skeevy. I only use ebay now to check prices of used merchandise.
@Paul_Frederick this guy will also deal directly. just ping him, he’s well known on cnczone and such. most g0704 rebuilds seem to buy from him
@charlie_wallace that’s good if I don’t have to go through ebay. I don’t run Gecko drives, or Mach 3 so I don’t fit in with the CNCzone reverberatory echo chamber too well. I do have an account though. Sometimes it is useful when I follow a link, and want to see an attached file.
Price a pair of angular contact bearings and you will soon realise the eBay ones are all junk! I use deep groove bearings in a block of my own design because I couldn’t afford the money for the proper bearings. I’ll replace them if they fail but so far so good.
