How on earth do you re-establish tram with a heated pad when it’s got THIS lump one side?

You shouldn’t be seating the heated bed on the silicone (and “the lump”) anyways, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Grab onto the corner of the glass instead.

I photographed it upside down to show the thickness. To date, the delta’s bed has just sat flat on the printed abs and kept from rotating. Now I’ve got to re-shim it to restore flatness.

Yeah, that’s what I meant.
The nice thing about these high-powered silicone heaters is that, if you’re using an aluminum bed to stick it to (which I would recommend anyways, since these heaters aren’t exactly heating up very evenly), you can leave a border around the heater to mount the bed and still use the entire top surface.

I also think all of these heaters would be better if the leads we’re outside of the circle so you could seat on a flat piece of cork or ceramic insulation. My Kapton one also has an annoying bump.

I"m thinking, based on Tom’s comments, of gluing it to a metal plate, then suspendign the plate over the bed to clear, but man, every time I mod the printer, I lose Z (down to 146mm now)…You know what? I’ll do it after IGentUS is done

We just cut that segment out of the platform plate underneath it on a friend’s bot.
