How smooth can it be? (Part II)

I´m using here the 12-bit ColorFromPalette function @Jeff_Hannan showed yesterday. I can just repeat his words “… if I do say so myself, the results look fantastic.”

What else is new? I tried an expensive but precise float32 Perlin Simplex Noise implementarion performed on the Teensy 3.6 FPU.
3 independant noise/CRGB layers with slighly different palettes. Just added the layers at the end in order to don´t lose color resolution.
Did I mention that the 3.6 is a serious calculation monster? Still >400 fps…

If you watch the video - please give it at least a minute before you judge.

All the movements are very slow by purpose - so you can see the critical edges (where the colors are close to black) better…
