Yeah I have to sand that dowel down about 2mm but it clears everything else by at least 1mm.

Personally, had I done anything, I might have went up with the guide. But honestly, I’d rather have a slip screw up a cut than break a bit…

lol… Probably not. But can’t you use the second guide to hold the belt down off of that dowel? Or is the belt not long enough?
Looks great! If you’re worried about the rubbing, I think there’s enough room to mount another smooth idler behind the cross bar. You can route your belt under that new idler.
Naa I just broke out some sandpaper and shaved a couple mm’s off the dowel. It’s just there for the cable carrier to rest on.
