How to add Rotate Axis (4th Axis) to smoothieware CNC?

Good afternoon. I need your help.
Board has 5 stepper drivers.
It is stupid to use only 3 of them.

  1. Can I connected in parallel two stepper motor driver for two Y-axis?

  2. Can I connect 4 axis?

  3. What software do you recommend for generating Gcode and transfer it to the machine? It would be easy to use software.
