Not as a first printer. Deltas can be complicated to configure if you don’t know what you’re doing. Go for a Cartesian style as a first one like a Prusa i3 or a Printrbot.

It’s a reasonable printer (you’d end up replacing a lot of stuff), but it’s NOT a good first build. Get a printrbot, or at the very least the Folger Tech Prusa 2020.

I just finished building and setting one up. Stick with a Prusa i3. You will be a lot happier and less frustrated.

If you ever wish to switch to dual extrusion, deltas can have issues. If your arm to bed calibration is not 100% one extruder or the other may drag on the print. Enclosures are hard to make on some delta style printers.

I am still fiddling with mine…but it’s very cool.
