Finished printing a massive project for my son’s friend. A large Fallout 4 helmet.
Printed on a @Printrbot Simple (Maker kit edition - that I’ve heavily modified). Go @Brook_Drumm !

Way kewl. A lot of work there. I probably would’ve skipped some of that infill and went with another perimeter. You’ll have to post the pics after painting it.
Such a nice dad.
Painting’s not my department - it’s with its new owner for final touches before being worn in some kind of zombie apocalypse game tomorrow night. I’m hoping for pics myself!
To print this for your son I mean.
@Tim_Sills I’m always nervous that lack of infill will prevent lid/ceilings from bridging and printing nicely. Therefore I tend to use 10% infill for anything enclosed. Maybe I’ll try 5% in the future…
I normally print twisty puzzles
But I don’t own a printer
This is awesome!
No doubt, I’ve had problems with less infill and then trying to bridge those gaps and found myself regretting having dialed back the infill (DoH).
