the stepoko board also looks interesting… i like that it has the limit switch stuff included (hopefully they are opto-isolated, otherwise they are useless!)… i also like the big heatsink on the back: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13155

The original so3 board isn’t opto isolated I ended up buying the opto isolation adapter my self. I’m not too happy about that
i’ve found that the lack of opto-isolated inputs is one of the greatest oversights of all the gshield / GRBL stuff out there. I have a custom board that someone on the forums designed and built, and it is has made all the difference. I would sincerely hope that boards like this that are made specifically for cnc would have those opto-isolators… and while you’re at it… opto-isolate the other inputs like feed hold, resume, etc!!
