Humidity got you down?

Humidity got you down? No worries!

Very cool idea indeed.

I must try that - great job & I’m just thinking of hamsters now for some reason

Great idea!
And I think it should work against dust also.

It’s partly my idea, partly @Tom_Martz
My bit is that the reels are hanging from the lid and 4mm ptfe inserts into 6mm and then back to 4mm ptfe for connecting to machine. Also direct placement of chemical drying agent on kitty litter.

The container is still very close to airtight.

great idea

It doesn’t seem to get as dry as my active drying boxes. I’m going to try adding some heat.

I had thought about doing something like this myself. What desiccant are you using? And where did you get it? I was looking at McMaster-Carr and Grainger for industrial desiccants, but I’m not sure how low of a humidity I should be targeting.

@Doug_Laney I was trying of the shelf desiccants competing with damp rid. I now think they must be broken into small pieces for greater surface area.
