I acidently shared this with my circles instead of the community in my first attempt.

Here are a few extra details on my CoreXY printer and things I have been working on this week. I wanted to get this out for people who aren’t going out to the Reprap show in Goshen this weekend. I am pumped to see some of you out there and plan on taking lots of notes and pics to keep improving my build and my skills.

Nice Printer.

Very nice. Do you have any photos of sample prints?

I like the look of this

awesome! This would help very much especially since I always hear from my Baby Doll Grand daughter, “What dya bring me grammy?”

Great enclosure, any luck on the stuttering? This is me hoping you stick with core xy.

Looks great as always.

@Chris_James I will try and come up with some. Or you could look at posts I have made in the past.

@Eric_Moy stutter has been better recently.

@Eclsnowman I really love the full enclosure (minus some minor holes) and I really wish I had a full enclosure on my Rostock Max. Printing in the winter seems to be a problem for me so far. Of course, I am still a newb at this since I only had the printer since August.

@NathanielStenzel I’d like to develop an enclosure for the rostock max, just haven’t had the time yet. Stock carriages don’t make it easy either…

@NathanielStenzel thanks. I live in Minnesota. So drafts during abs are a real issue. My enclosure is far from perfect, but holds a fairly consistent 55c during abs printing with the bed at 110c and time to reach thermal equilibrium.

@Anthony_White I see what you mean. It would be difficult when the profile of the extrusions cannot be interfered with. There’s no where to mount to without large spanning sheets.

yup. I’m thinking something involving plastic sheeting and a dowel rod frame to keep it out of places
