I am building a Prusa I2 and I want to have a LCD screen and SDcard ramp set up on it so I don’t have to leave it hooked up to the computer all the time. Which firmware should I use to accomplish this?
The Marlin firmware is well established in this area and supports some ready made kits available from some suppliers.
Will it still work if i don’t have a ready made kit. I have a multi-line LCD from another project that I was going to use so the only thing I would need to get is the SD Ramp and a scroll wheel/button.
You don’t need the kits, you can use your own bits. I did a brief guide on Marlin but the firmware has been updated a lot since then.
