I am going to launch my kickstarter soon, and I am looking for feed back from you guys. I am trying to create a recycling program for failed prints. Check it out at this link https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/874542767/750821315?token=8016ba5a -just updated the link should be working now…
Broken link for me
When do you plan to launch this?
One big thing some Don’t consider with a KickStarter project: What if you get $10k? $50k? Will you still be able to meet your timeline for backer rewards?
I’ll probably back you. Don’t be a victim of success!
@Carlton_Dodd If got 50k… I would need to hire staff and a warehouse and buy an industrial filament extruder. I don’t think I will and if I do I’ll figure it out don’t worry
@Eddie_Krassenstein kickstarter is still validating my project. I will launch it when they are done which takes around a week. Hopefully Friday.
@Carlton_Dodd he could limit the rewards to avoid this problem. It’s what I did with Filastruder, and I’m disappointed more folks don’t do it.
@Tim_Elmore
That is probably the safest way. Limit your growth rate to a manageable level.
I limited my rewards on my Pinhole Printed Kickstarter and delivered all on time. I highly recommend it to avoid burnout.
