I am legitimately impressed with myself on this one. I am a 3D guy. I’ve been using Solidworks and Inventor for 7 years and professionally for 3. I rarely touch the likes of AutoCAD so I’m extremely happy with how this came out.
Nicely done @Blake_Dunham … Looks like you have more than just a plan here, with dual extruders, planned out wiring etc.
What kind of mechanical construction are you plannig to use? This setup should work for different printer configurations…
Isn’t there a Solidworks module for… that?
Water level circuit
that’s great!! which do you think is better solidworks or autocad? since you used them both
Well Solidworks and AutoCad are two completely different programs that are both very good at what they do.
If you mean which do i prefer between Solidworks and inventor, I would say inventor. I’ve been using it the longest so I’m really used to it. Plus, Inventor is really well integrated within the AutoDesk Ecosystem making it easy to swap files between programs and not have to convert files all the time. AutoCad is second to none. I personally dont enjoy using it since I’m more of a 3D guy, but I wouldn’t use any other 2D program
SolidWorks has 2D but it’s more for making blueprints from 3D models and assemblies.
I was talking about something like SolidWorks Electrical.
Inventor has an electrical modual too. But alot more planning has to be done to use it effectively. I banged this out in about a day
I think the electrical module is an extra cost option anyway.
I know that inventor comes with the components but the actual cable running I’m not sure about. I’ve never messed with it nor have I ever encountered it being used at my work
