I am looking for a 4 to 7" LCD with a capacitive touch screen board. But I want to pay around $50 or less what do you suggest.
It is ok if I have to make a board or a driver for it

chipsee has a 7" display and chalk electronics has 7 and 10" capacitive displays. both are over $130.

CircuitCo should start producing this one shortly

@Richard_Lucas and where, if I may ask, do you think the ‘expensive’ displays are made? the higher price results from more intermediaries and ‘old tech premium’. Please consider that BBB, which is very competitively priced, is made in the US; I think many people in this group are excited and motivated by accessibility and spread of new, less expensive technology.

I share your concern for environment, but I think that it should be addressed by fixing the actual problems rather than by blanket refusal of dealing with the new tech.

@Hans_Zimmer where we can know about the progress of getting low prices ?

best i’ve found is $59 for a 4". but its resistive. what would be great if someone could develop a cape that can accept connections from any newhaven display (that doesn’t have a LCD controller), and accept resistive or capacitive connections.
