I am making a nose piece for some 3D glasses that come with a nose piece that they bet will get lost and they sell the replacement for a shit ton of money. Sadly, I will not be able to publish the file because they will probably sue me. It is also sad that I do not have flexible filament, but my friend may be able to make due with a rubber coat or some black electrical tape to add padding.
I am printing the part a little above the bed and at an angle because it does not have a flat bottom. Talk about annoying cleanup.

Well, the prints are rough, but something is better than nothing. I should probably put forth the effort to split it in half vertically so that I have two halves to fold together and join with a couple of pieces of filament as dowels, but the results that I got should probably do for now.

Can you print the negative and cast them in silicone? That should make them nice and soft.

Probably. Or I could make dough and sandwich the original to make a mold that only needs to be baked hard.

Make some oogoo (homemade sugru). It’s easy (as long as you make sure you get type 1 silicone).

“Improve” the part design from the original and publish - maybe they will infringe on you.
