I am trying out KISSlicer.

I am trying out KISSlicer. I have run a print using Slic3r, and compared the gcode to find that KISSlicer is outputing the E values at 1% of what they should be. I assume there is just a setting in KISSlicer that I have configured wrong. Does anyone have any ideas about what that could be? My initial suspicion was the extruder gain setting needs to be changed. But I have it set to 1, and I don’t think it should vary by “powers of ten”.

Things to check - in the materials tab, the filament diameter is specified and the flow tweak is near 1. In the printer tab, in the Extruder sub-tab, have the correct material selected and gain set to 1, and then the extruder mapping to the correct extruder. Under the Firmware type, KISSlicer has Relative E and Absolute E - make sure you’re using Absolute E. Otherwise, the E value is reset at each layer.

@Joseph_Chiu I had it set for Relative E, not Absolute E. Changed it, and now it works beautifully. Thanks so much!

Super thorough guidance there @Joseph_Chiu nice work.
