I am unable to purchase Gcode simulator and printer on google play! It turns down all forms of payment (even google play and google wallet), and I purchased another app to see if it was my account, but I had no problem with that one. Can I purchase it anywhere else?
No, there is no other way to purchase the App yet. You should contact Google and report the problem. I would like to evaluate the Amazon App Store, but did not have time to do that yet.
Publish here if you do an amazon app store offering. I will purchase that same day! I have an amazon balance, but not a google play balance.

@Adam_Lindsay there is no mechanism for automatic upgrades with direct payment. You would need to be emailed a file for manual installation.
I know I wouldn’t bother with non-store purchases as a developer. That $4 just isn’t worth my time to keep track of emailing updates to people for the next few years.
I can wait for upgrades until he can process payments through Google play. Then I will repurchase it. They are probably losing a lot of sales due to that glitch!
There seems to be a general problem with purchasing the App. Meanwhile I got two additional complaints that payment does not work.

to be honest, I don’t understand some of the tax interview questions. Looks like, even as a non-US citizen, I’m required to get a tax number from IRS.
