I am using dual GT2 3MM belts for X and Y axes. Using a dial gauge, I have measured backlash to be approximately 0.10-0.12mm for each axis. Are these pretty typical values for this setup?

Do you mean 1 belt on top of the other when you say dual belts? That was the way I was thinking of building mine.

I assume this is better than the standard single belt. Simple and easy to do. I like it.
