It would also be awesome to turn this into an interactive guide at some point 
People like to click buttons and get told what to do or buy.

I’d suggest a section on 3d printer that is plug and play, i.e. A unicorn or fairy-tale. A lot of people don’t understand that there currently doesn’t exist a plug and play 3d printer, and calibration must be taken into account when purchasing.
Also reliability, things like acrylic which will craze and crack over time. Different materials and their requirements, and the differences in application of the materials.
enclosed printers, heated platform, and even safety features. Tech support, community support, and modification support (void your warranty stuff).
And ‘extruders’ as a consumable! #warning
