I been trying to print a hinge for my 3d printer and the first

I been trying to print a hinge for my 3d printer and the first one i made it came out perfect, apply a little bit of force and the 2 joints move perfect, i printed @0.3 mm layer resolution with supports, when i tryied to print with no supports either at 0.2 and 0.3 the part weld so well at the joints that it literally snap in 2, any ideas? I use honeycom drone ABS on a craftbot

Without supports you probably got sag and the unsupported section welded to the supported one

Maybe try modeling in some minimal support that will break away easily? Keep adding small amounts until it works. How’s your bringing?

im already printing again at 0.3 using supports, might work, what do you mean by bringing? you mean bridging?? its kinda bad, might have something to do with not using fans at all

Oh sorry, yes bridging. Autocorrect. If you model in support yourself, you can control how far you need to bridge. Might be time to install a fan
