I cannot BEGIN to describe the satisfaction I felt when I encountered the Makerbot display at Micro center today, and the extruder was waving about in the air over a failed print.

I saw the same with ultimaker 2s on makerfaire rome. As no rep was around, I had the decency to switch the machine off and not waste further PLA.
All printers today still have this problem, no?

I’ll not mention the location as the employee that was trained in all things Makerbot was extremely helpful and friendly…it just made me feel a little better that even the polished professionals have failed prints. (The filament snapped at the spool, in this case.)
