I decided to improve a glass mount. So i made 4 aluminium corners. After assembly, I had to bend a little the upper edges and cover them by kapton tape.
Nice. Do you find any fluctuations with your bed height when heating and cooling?
@Daniel_Fielding
Glass was placed with a small gap, so I had to stick a Kapton tape on an aluminum bracket and on angles of the glass. So far, i only printed with PLA and not notice thermal fluctuations. I think if any will appear, then tape compensate them. The only thing I worried if glass fits enough tight to the aluminum platform, but i must admit with PLA this design works fine.
After more printing i have to state, that my idea is not briliant. i found out that when printer draw some zigzag (for example filling small gaps), due vibration glass plate moves about 0.2 mm to side opposite to last move. And then i have a some artefacts on printed shape. So the result of my experiment is a reducing number of needed paper clips to 2.
