I designed a pair of fan shrouds for my Felix 3.0 to improve the airflow over the workpiece.

I feel this may produce too much resistance and burn out your fan. Have a look at a squirrel cage fan such as a Nidec Gamma. They should offer more air flow through a smaller opening that you could then direct a bit easier.

Blower fans give much better airflow when ducted.
