I designed and made a bottom and top mount for some flex split cable tubing to run the wires between the hotend and the base of my Rostock Max.

Very nice mate, I can’t wait to finally get my first printer. A user in another post mentioned I could use motors form a desktop printer but I ma curious as to what printers and if all the motors have to be the same. SO I’m still researching but I really like the tower design of the Rostock

I guess you could use printer steppers, but 4 NEMA 17 steppers new from eBay are pretty cheap. ($60).

I uploaded both to thingiverse if you want to use them. They are internally threaded for 3/8 split flex tubing.
