I didn’t want to spend 80€+VAT+shipping on the UltiController for my @Ultimaker so i bought the LCD2004 (from @SainSmart ) for about 35€ with free shipping on ebay (took a month to arrive).
The pins on the LCD2004 have the exact reverse order compared the pins on the Ultimaker (v1.5.6) board. I took the provided cables and removed the orientation pin on one side so i could turn it. EXP2 goes to the connector near the SD slot.
I have tested it with the Marlin firmware. Use the settings for the ‘RepRapDiscount Smart Controller’ in configuration.h.
