It looks to me like you could shift the whole lead screw to the right and it would fit on the machine better. But I suppose you did it how you did it because of what hardware you have? CNC machines are not set in stone. You can always make modifications later. Once you’re up and running that is another plateau. From that vantage point a lot is going to look much different. Then you’ll actually see where you’re at for the very first time. Right now you’re in the twisty path part of the journey. Gory little details have a way of blotting out the bigger picture.

@Paul_Frederick Yes. Right now I’d just like for my machine to be functional. If it works, I intend to re cut some plates and parts, if I can make them more precise. After that, I’ll order some new z-axis columns for better z travel and more accurate gantry width beams (I’m so frustrated that I cut my beams too short.
