I feel this could be better. Printed with 3DR, 1.75 PLA at 190 C
Are you using a fan? Not bad really, though.
Storm trooper?
Not sure what model you used, but it looks like you lost some fine detail. I’d check for loose belts and slop in your delta arms.
Using 2 fans 1 40mm and 1 80 mm from different angles.
Storm Trooper from Star Wars to fit a presta valve for a bicycle.
I’m using spectra line and its tight as a gnats … I got new 6mm rods calibrated to 0 - .008mm variation but I’m still experiencing bearing slop. Not really ready to sink another $100 into new rods again.
I don’t believe 8micron variation would not be causing that very minor ribbing. Honestly 8 microns is probable well within the error of your measurement device. Our CMM at work only measures to the single digit microns. What do your calibration cubes/cylinders look like
I’m not saying you can’t improve, but that model has some tough overhangs even at a small scale. Good luck though
Slop in the joints can act as a low-pass filter on movement of the head, resulting in a loss of fine details.
