I felt the need to have a 3D representation in space of all the #3dprinted parts of the #ScoutCoreXY #3dprinter concept so I have naturally uploaded it to #Sketchfab to be able to play with it. I often use this method to spot errors and get new ideas so my hope is that you might also notice something that has evaded me so far and can comment below.

The Printhead is not included in the presentation because it will have an exploded model of its own, being quite complex and it would have only crowded this one.

And it paid off already. Too much to explain but basically the philosophy behind the two-part square tube clamp should have been used for all the parts.
For some reason I didn’t apply that for the Z moving platform. It was nicer looking but it wasn’t streamlined with all other parts. Now, after a major overhaul of the Z stage it is and the Sketchfab Model of the floating parts should reflect that.
