I finally had an interactive thing with the fastled, neopixel, ikea cable wrapper combination. A jump rope that supports up to 4 people. Will try and improve on this, but if you have any ideas share please.

sure here is the basic Fritzing diagram. Note that there is a switch that controls the power to the strip directly, that is not advised, it worked for WS2812b’s but with Apa102 I had issues. I used it to manual beat match sometimes. Other than that as I mentioned I wrapped the strip in ikea cable wrappers called “Rabalder”. Used it in a Juggling festival south of Turkey and it was a hit! planning to add another strip and do a combat mode next time.

This was the final construction, yes an entire box.I did not have time to prepare. Those orange Wago connectors for cables help in connections but I think they do create issues when using thin wires such as those we use on arduino projects.
